The Middlesboro Daily News is the only paper to cover this at all, and they made it their lead story. They assigned a reporter to work on it, yet many other public events --- such as the Middlesboro Little Theatre's production of "The Diary of Anne Frank," which opens the weekend immediately following the KKK's rally --- will only get coverage if the organization submits a press release, which the editor will then rewrite and probably shove somewhere inside with the dubious byline "Special to the Daily News," whatever that means, on it. They do not explain how a Muslim can have a Christian pastor, they just spread the word. Needless to say, they also do not like Melungeons, Jews, liberals, feminists, gays and people whose religion does not involve snake handling.
